Madibeng Mayor tackels service delivery

MADIBENG – The Executive Mayor of Madibeng Cllr Douglas Maimane led alongside the Executive Mayor of Bojanala Platinum District Municipality Cllr Matlakala Nondzaba, the accelerated service delivery programme affectionately known as Thuntsha Lerole in Ward 26 , 27 and 32 of Madibeng Local Municipality on November 3, 2023.

The programme was joined by various government district offices and officials of the Municipality including the MMC responsible for Public Safety Cllr Feni Motepe, MMC responsible for Cooperate Support Services MMC Esther Bopape, MMC for Special Projects and also respond for LED MMC Motladi Modipane and MMC responsible for Roads and Stormwater MMC Magdonia Masuku together with the Single Whip Cllr Elsie Kgautle joined by Ward councillors.

Activities included Patching of potholes, regravelling of roads, energising of high mast lights, Home affairs services, raiding of illegal businesses and other government services.

“Government should not be in offices but rather be with our people on the ground with our people. We have been elected to make meaningful impact in the lives of our people and will stay true and committed to resolving the triple challenges” commented the Executive Mayor.
