Mgezengwane Primary School excursion

VERULAM – Two Hundred & thirty eight (238) learners and twenty educators from Mgezengwane Primary School visited Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters in Verulam. They arrived in two buses at 10:00. The group consisted of learners from Grade 1 to Grade 7. RUSA Paramedics performed an Emergency Simulation for the children.

Training Manager Mbali Angel Phiri explained the role of patrol dogs in the Security Industry. The children were also allowed to view a recently acquired Kawasaki Ninja 600cc up close. The RUSA Helicopter was not on display. The aircraft is currently at Virginia Airport for a Major Periodic Inspection (MPI) & would return to the Helipad in approximately 14 days. The group departed at 11:00 and continued on their excursion which included visits to Museums in Durban.
