SAPS seize counterfeit good worth R13,7 million

GAUTENG – The police in Gauteng Province continue to make inroads in dealing with counterfeit goods and contraband and to #StopIllicitTrade. On 04 October 2023, the South African Police Service in the province consisting of various units, conducted a search and seizure operation at Marabastad in Pretoria and seized clothing items and other goods to the estimated street value of about R13.7 million. The community is urged not to buy counterfeit goods and to report any criminal activities to their nearest police station or by calling Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
