We have moved with speed among other, through the appointment of a service provider, and we will continue to ensure that the residents of Madibeng Local Municipality and neighbouring areas around the dam, benefit in more than one way. Firstly, to ensure that this eco-tourism of this area gets back to where it was, we will ensure that all externally sourced service providers provide Magalies Water as the implementing agent, on behalf of the department of Water and Sanitation, as the authority with value for money. Three-years may seem long, but it is not, and it is for that reason we will work with the necessary speed to ensure that that life returns to normal.”
