Three (3) suspects arrested for illegal hunting

GAUTENG – Crime Prevention members, Sergeant Sidimo and Sergeant Seleka arrested three male persons at Marrick Safari Farm on the Douglas road. The members were conducting crime prevention duties when they received a complaint of unknown men slaughtering an animal. Three men aged between 20 and 30 years were found in possession of meat allegedly that of a cow worth R15 000, as well as knives, an axe and bags. The suspects were arrested and detained for illegal hunting and will soon appear in the Kimberley Magistrates Court.
