Three (3) hijackers swiftly arrested

GAUTENG – Earlier today a ‘bolo’ was issued from JMPD members in regards to a vehicle that attempted to steal another vehicle in the Mondeor Suburb. Soon after security teams received news that the vehicle was traveling around in the Westrand. Tactical teams in conjunction with Fidelity Business Intelligence centre jumped into action to hunt the vehicle down. TRU members spotted the vehicle in Roodepoort CBD and gave chase. Tactical units activated his emergency lights and the vehicle immediately came to a standstill in the middle of the road when the suspects jumped out of the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. A passing by JMPD officer was flagged by the security and immediately assisted the officer to arrest one of the suspects. Soon after, all 3 suspects were apprehended by various tactical teams.
