Rude awakening for Oukasie criminal

ELANDSRAND – One criminal of a group of three that has been terrorizing the Community of Elandsrand had a rude awakening on Wednesday night when the vigilance of the community and security personnel was one step ahead of him.

The thief hopped over a wired fence at 20h33 on Wednesday night while being spotted by multiple cameras and vigilant community members who called in the help of security services and the Elandsrand Men’s Forum. While inside the premises, the thief set off alarms and attempted to run away when he heard the sirens go off. Luckily PPS Security officers with K9 units was waiting for him and swiftly arrested the perp while he was trying to run away into the night. Questions asked by security and Elandsrand Men’s Forum gathered information from the criminal about the two other accomplices and which areas they are operating in like Drakensberg, Langeberg, Matroosberg and Dassenberg. Information was also received that the perp gave a fake name to security and was later identified to be ‘Wallace Martins’, with the nickname “Busty” living in Noordkamp in Oukasie. One of the involved members also sent out a stern warning to all criminals that want to terrorize the community of Elandsrand: “We are watching you, we have eyes everywhere and we are not playing anymore.” A massive thank you to all members of Elandsrand Men’s Forum, PPS Security and ADT Brits for the swift response to the crime scene and the sheer determination to catch these criminals and make the community a safer place.
