Popular flavoured milk drink to be discontinued

SOUTH AFRICA – Nestlé South Africa has decided to discontinue Nesquik chocolate and strawberry mix from 21 August 2023. Media outlets recently reported that the flavoured milk drink Nesquik will no longer be available in South Africa due to “lower demand” from the public. “Nestlé understands that this may disappoint some consumers,” the company said. Nestlé also said it would continue producing Milo, Hot Chocolate, and Cocoa drinks. “These brands have shown remarkable performance and consumer loyalty, making them the focus of Nestlé’s efforts to build a healthier and sustainable business for the future,” the statement said.
