Passenger injured in collision, R102

VERULAM – A passenger in a white Nissan NP 200 bakkie sustained moderate injuries following a collision on the northbound lane of the R102 at the Inanda Road and Wick Street intersection. The Operations Centre became inundated with calls from passing motorists requesting assistance at the scene. Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were immediately dispatched and on arrival discovered that the bakkie collided into the rear of a white Nissan UD truck. The injured male was stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
