Winter is coming…

SOUTH AFRICA – A severe cold is expected to make landfall over the SW Western Cape on Friday afternoon. The cold front is expected to penetrate deep into the country with adverse conditions for most of the provinces. Please see expectations:

Friday – Moderate rainfall over the sw Western Cape with lighter rain over the west coast of the Northern Cape. Strong winds over the interior of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Northern Cape.

Saturday – Moderate rainfall over the sw Western Cape with snow over the Western Cape mountain ranges and the southern high ground of the Northern Cape. Strong winds over the interior of the country.

Sunday – Temperatures expected to plummet in most areas. Snow expected over the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State, KZN, Northern Cape.

Monday – Extremely cold conditions with snow over the above-mentioned areas as well as possibility parts of Mpumalanga
