Theft of MV wanted suspects taken down

GAUTENG – Specialized Intervention Units were dispatched when notified about a suspected vehicle that had ties to crime cases around Johannesburg. RD1 spotted the vehicle and requested backup. The vehicle was driving around with three suspects inside, when the suspects noticed reaction members, a high-speed pursuit took place down Trichardts Road towards Boksburg CBD whereby suspects kept skipping red robots trying to get away from reaction officers. On Railway Road the suspects vehicle bumped into a bystanders vehicle and lost control, suspects attempted to jump out off the moving vehicle, whereby members immediately intercepted the suspects vehicle and detained all three criminals, extra backup arrived on scene.

After further investigation on all the information on the suspects vehicle, it was found that the vehicle was sought on a JHB Central Case. Thanks to MF Towing for help members to tow the suspects vehicle to BN Police Station. Acting on additional info from suspects arrested during the day, leading us to the king pin address where more equipment, false plates, illegal firearm, 16 channel signal jammer was recovered.
