Suspects arrested after high speed chase

GERMISTON – Information was a received of a high speed chase taking place by Fox security after a robbery was commited in the Raceview area. The suspects vehicle was spotted by CPS Tactical units in the south crest area and the team began to chase after it.

The vehicle was successfully stopped on Wits Rifle Drive in Germiston by the CPS team where both driver and passenger were arrested. House breaking implements, stolens items, number plates etc were found in the vehicle.

Germiston Task team transported the suspects to the Germiston police station for further investigations. The suspects have been linked on several other robberies whereby members of the public were also robbed in the Alberton and Germiston area.
