Fire breaks out at local supermarket

CENTURION – In the early hours of Saturday morning, the Centurion crew responded to reports of a fire at a local supermarket in Wierdapark. Upon arrival, it was found that the refuge storage area behind a local upermarket, in Reddersburg road, was engulfed in flames. The Tshwane Emergecy Services Department responded promptly, and the fire was extinguished without further damage to the adjacent buildings. The cause of the fire is unclear at this time and miraculously no major damage was caused.
