Taxi operations disrupt traffic in Lethlabile

LETHLABILE – Since early this morning, Taxi’s from both Letlhabile and Maboloka blocked the Lethlabile road allegedly about differences between the two associations that they are taking each other’s customers. Traffic came to a standstill while the taxi associations settled their differences.

At this point in time a commitment by both Letlhabile and Maboloka Taxi Associations are being signed as required by the community of Letlhabile that no roads will be ever blocked by taxi differences in the future. Taxi differences must also not affect the community in future. Taxis are currently being removed from the road to get the traffic moving again. A meeting is being arranged with the MEC this afternoon.
