Gift of Givers reach out to flood victims in Western Cape
WESTERN CAPE – The floods have had a severe impact on the KTC community, located between Nyanga and Gugulethu, #WesternCape. Community members reached out daily, urgently requesting assistance for the elderly. In response, Gift of the Givers teams provided hot soup and bread, 5L bottled water, and blankets generously sponsored by HOME Center, Checkers and Rally’s.
From Kwazulu-Natal, Gift of the Givers teams successfully loaded trucks with supplies for the flood victims in Rawsonville #WesternCape. Rawsonville has experienced severe devastation due to the recent storms, with over 1,280 individuals affected and 340 structures destroyed. To provide aid, two trucks departed from Cape Town, while an additional truck will be dispatched from KZN.
