Crime awareness campaign June 16 – Elandsrand Men’s Forum

BRITS – On 16 June 2023, the Elandsrand Men’s Forum had an event for crime awareness that started with a 21km run at 07H00. Followed by a 10km and 5km fun walk. For community members participated also in aerobics exercises and karate self-defence lessons.

Participation medals was given to all participants. Cllr Tshidiso from ward 20 was also addressing the community on how criminals get into unsuspecting community members houses and how to prevent such crimes.

A Soccer match was lastly held for the children and community members. A great initiative from the Elandsrand Men’s Forum to show the community how to get our children minds off unhealthy things and participating in group sports to get them away from crime.

Thank you for Joel Dube of the Elandsrand Men’s Forum that always make time and organize these events and service to our community. He also arranged with Mothutlung, Damonsville, Garankuwa, Letlhabile crime awareness’s and CPF organizations to fight crime in our communities. Salute!
