JMPD arrests suspected drug smuggler

GAUTENG – JMPD K9 officers noticed a male driving a Red Toyota Yaris recklessly on the N12 / Golden Highway, Naturena. The officers stopped & searched the vehicle & recovered bags of illegal substances (nyaope) stuffed inside the compartments of the vehicle. The suspect offered officers R1000 bribe to let him go free, but was arrested. Further investigation is underway.
