Taxi conductor run over while touting for passengers

PHOENIX – A 27 year old man sustained moderate injuries after he was struck by a light motor vehicle at the Phoenix Highway and Longbury Drive robots in Unit 7. Passing motorists contacted RUSA requesting assistance for the injured man. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that that the male is a conductor in a taxi.
He disembarked from the mini bus and fled across the road to tout for passengers when he was struck by a maroon Hyundai I10. The taxi drove off leaving the injured male behind. He was treated for his injuries on scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
