Two dead in fatal head-on collision

KZN – KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R34 Nkamane crossing for reports of a collision. When emergency services arrived, they found that 2 vehicles had been involved in a head-on collision. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient had sustained critical injuries. With specialized rescue equipment, the patient was extricated and stabilized, after which the patient was transported to the hospital. Sadly, 2 occupants had sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.
