Suspect arrested for positive business break-in

GAUTENG – LGEP Control Room received a call from their client stating he possibly sees a suspect walking around the property, not long after the alarm triggered inside the building. LGEP Reaction Unit with LG1 for backup was dispatched to the property and it was confirmed a suspect on the clients premises. The property was surrounded by LGEP Officers, but the suspect got on the roof and started to evade the officers by jumping on the roofs from one building to the next. LGEP Officers managed to get on the roof and successfully detained the suspects after multiple attempts as he tried to stab officers while they were trying to get onto the roof. Further investigation will continue as the suspect is wanted on multiple CAS numbers for previous break-ins. Well done to everyone involved!
