Suspect arrested during house break-in

ALBERTON – CPS Security control room received a call from a local developer in the area stating that someone was breaking into his property. Members of CPS Tactical team were sent out to the call. On arrival one suspect was apprehended by a security officer guarding the property. Stolen goods, a knife and drug paraphernalia were found in the suspects possession. Alberton SAPS were contacted and a case was opened. We urge the community to please be vigilant and ensure your alarms are being activated.
