Derek Watts ‘learning to walk’ after suspected stroke, sepsis
GAUTENG – South African television presenter Derek Watts, best known for his role on Carte Blanche, has posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed in Johannesburg. Watts confirmed that he had collapsed two weeks ago in Hoedspruit in March from a suspected stroke. He was also subsequently diagnosed with severe sepsis.
“Morning! Looks scary but collapsed with suspected stroke in Hoedspruit 14 days ago and dispatched to super pro Milpark Hospital ICU, Diagnosed severe sepsis which destroyed the bod, in an hour! So, learning to walk again.” he wrote alongside a selfie on social media.
