Truck overturned on the N4/R511 offramp

BRITS – Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service responded to a call of an accident on the N4/R511 Offramp yesterday. A truck struck a barrier and overturned causing a total blockage of the road. On arrival at scene two patients were found with minor injuries the patients were treated on scene and transported to a hospital in Brits for further treatment.

Station 21 Fire and Rescue also responded to the call. There was a spillage of diesel and oil on the road. Using absorbent materials the spillage was cleaned up by the crew. They also assisted in the recovery of the vehicle. Thank you to all on services and help on scene.
