SANDF member among those arrested for ambushing police van and freeing six awaiting trail prisoners

GAUTENG – Two suspects were arrested in Musina with two vehicles used in helping to ambush a police van to free six prisoners, were also found and confiscated. The suspects, 38-year-old Kedibone Albert Langa who is a member of the South African National Defence Force and a 28-year-old Thabani Sibanda, a Zimbabwean national, have since appeared in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate’s Court and their case postponed to 22 March 2023. A total number of six escapees are still at large, all of them confirmed to be Zimbabwean Nationals.
