Ford Brits Service & Sales official opening – 1 March 2023
BRITS – The feeling you get when you buy a brand new Ford vehicle, the smell of leather, luxury and comfort was the feeling experienced by the guests at the exclusive grand opening of the world class facility at Ford Brits Service & Sales Centre in the Magalies Hills Shopping Centre in Brits, North West. Pieter van der Merwe and Lohan Otto had the dream to bring a state of the art building to our local people in Brits, but according to Pieter, it was Lohan with his innovation and drive, that made this dream a reality.
The event was extremely well organized by Ford’s marketing team, and brought in Pierre Breytenbach as master of ceremonies, that is also well known for his role in Lekkkeslaap.co.za. During the evening, the people were treated to the unveiling of new Ford vehicles including the new Ford Everest, the Ford Raptor and the new Ford Mustang. To put a ribbon around it, there were wine tasting, delicious platters of food and live music from the EDM group – Drommedaris Drum Duo and local singing celebrity “Boerseun” from Brits – Braam du Toit.
One of the highlights of the event was the donation of a brand new Ford Ranger 4×4 to VulPro. This vehicle will be used for their rescue, rehabilitation and release programmes and to conduct important breeding surveys of wild vultures country-wide.
Owners of Brits Ford, Pieter van der Merwe and Lohan Otto would like to thank God for making this possible, all their family and friends for the support. Also the team behind Ford Brits Service & Sales for working like a well-oiled machine and especially their loyal clients including the new ones that will soon join the Ford family.
