Xtreme for Kids Cycle Tour kicks off in Muldersdrift with SAPS cyclists at the forefront

GAUTENG – Members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Gauteng swopped their boots for cycling shoes as they joined various other cyclists at Muldersdrift Primary School this morning, 01 March 2023 for the Xtreme for Kids Cycle tour kick-off. The first leg of the cycle tour is from Mulderdrift to Parys and will conclude on 10 March 2023 when the cyclists reach Cape Town. This annual event is spearheaded by Matla a Bana (a non-government organisation) in partnership with Business Leadership South Africa, SAPS and various other stakeholders.

The cycle tour also entails a National School Safety Programme whereby various schools will be visited enroute to Cape Town.
