Robbery suspects left empty handed after chase with security company

BRITS – Secure Guarding control room was notified about an incident in the Mamogalieskraal area wereby a local farmer chased suspects on his property. Upon arrival at the farm, the suspects were chased on foot through dence bushes with the farmer and his foreman.

The suspects split up in different directions, running towards Kromstraat. Unfortunately, they managed to evade arrest. While back tracking on their steps, an illegal fire arm with serial numbers filled off containing 15 live rounds in the magazine and a plasma tv was recovered. SAPS Brits was contacted with LCR to the scene and evidence was handed over to them. Thank you for everyone involved!
