EMPD disperse crowd siphoning fuel after tanker overturned

GAUTENG – A diesel tanker overturned in Wadeville earlier this afternoon. Emergency service officials on the scene had a hard time preventing people from getting closer to the accident scene to siphon off fuel. This incident comes nearly two weeks after another tanker exploded after carrying liquid gas in Plantation road and getting stuck underneath the bridge, 11km away on December 24, 2022. A total number of 37 people have lost their lives with more people still battling fot their lives in the Hospital.
