Load shedding moved up to Stage 4

GAUTENG – Eskom has escalated load shedding to Stage 4 from 10h00 this morning. The power utility says this is due to additional breakdowns overnight, Eskom was unable to replenish the emergency generation reserves, which has worsened the current generation capacity constraints.

Stage 4 will continue until 05h00 on Monday morning.
