Public drug use a problem for community members

BRITS – Community members have raised questions about the open drug use that can be seen around Brits. Areas near the taxi rank in Ko-Operasie avenue has become notorious because of drug addicts who openly use drugs during the day on the corner of De Wits avenue and Reitz street.

Community members and business owners fear for their safety due to the petty thievery cause by the growing number of drug addicts in Brits and calls on the Brits SAPS to patrol the areas to make Brits a safer place.
