Accused who stabbed his mother to death and drank her blood case adjourned for a post-mortem report

KOSTER – The Koster Magistrates’ Court, delayed the case against Thabang Moswane (24) to 1 August 2022, to await the post-mortem report and the photo albums from the SAPS, to complete investigations. Moswane has abandoned his bail, and he will remain in police custody until the next court appearance. He is charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death.

Police reports reveal that Boons police were called out, to a horrific murder scene in Mathopestad on Monday afternoon, 9 May 2022. Initial information indicated that there was a fight between Kedisaletse Elizbeth Moswane (53), and her son, Thabang Moswane. On arrival at the scene, police found Kedisaletse’s body inside a shack, with numerous stab wounds.

The police were informed that Thabang, was allegedly seen drinking his mother’s blood, after stabbing her. He was immediately arrested and appeared before the Koster Magistrate’s Court.
