Teen raped in hostel in Queenstown

EASTERN CAPE – A girl allegedly was gang-raped at the school hostel by three fellow pupils in Queenstown. A grade 8 learner from Maria Louw High has been raped by 3 grade 12 male learners. This happened at the school’s hostel.

According to Eastern Cape Education MEC Fundile Gade, three boys aged between 15 and 19, allegedly raped the 13-year-old at the hostel of Maria Louw High School in June.

A case was opened with the local police station and the police, and the boys were arrested and released on bail. According to EC Education MEC Fundile Gade, the boys were given bail for more investigation into this matter
